We engaged on the technology programme of this residence at design development and remained on the project through to commissioning and beyond. Every system in the house — automation, distributed audio and video, networks, climate, lighting, security, and the on-panel surface — was specified, programmed, and certified against a single integrated documentation set. The residence is now in service under a continuous-engagement relationship.
The brief was for technology that disappears. The household uses a custom Crestron VT Pro interface, composed for the architecture of the house, and asks no questions about what is underneath. The integration logic was written from first principles to read the rhythm of the family’s day, and the lighting, climate, audio, and shading respond as one — never in isolation.
